Life from a City

Armley Mills

Its Wide-Angle Wednesday, and the theme is Opposites.
As it happened, today was annual leave for me, as I had to take my eldest to the dentist. Given that it was half term, I then took my daughter and her best friend out bowling. The area we went to is a retail park. All very modern. Just as we were returning to the car, I spotted, between two restaurants, a path to this bridge. I nipped through, and then saw Armley Mills on the other side. The mill dates from 1707, and was a wool mill, producing cloth. I loved the contrast between the mill, and this very modern bridge.
