Rooms with a view

These lovely trees (yes there are two) formed the view from our hotel in the Peak District, with a slightly misty Lathkill Dale in the background.  If you look carefully you can see the sheep resting under the shelter of the trees.  I was entertained one morning watching two black lambs repeatedly chasing each other up and down the hill.  It was so funny waiting for the point at which the dominant lamb would decide to make a run for it, closely pursued by the other.

I'll leave you with a Chinese proverb to think about.  'The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago.  The next best time is now.'
