Day 3

Lots of rapids today and lots of fun. Somehow we managed no swims and got to to campsite very quickly, with lots of time to go swimming and bridge jump before tea (although I chose not to bridge jump). 

I canoed with Jonty who is more keen to steer on his own than as a pair (usually both the front and the back steer but using different strokes). This meant that he wasn't always happy when I automatically started to steer from the front, but we got down the river easily and it was very enjoyable.
