Bit Of Late Sunshine

Wednesday was a long one.

In the office really quickly today - lots of people have taken a week off and it's rather great.  The bus after work to my German lesson was the fastest time ever.  From out of the office to sitting down in her flat it was 30 minutes.  It's normally 40 minutes in the bus plus another 10 on foot.

Work was a blur of problems, then ideas, then testing, then new problems, new ideas, new testing.  Before I knew it, it was time to head for my German lesson.  Days like this are great. Just getting stuck in and finding things out.  Magic.

On the flipside*, afterwards I'm knackered.

And I can never use the word "flipside" without thinking of The Flipside Of Dominick Hide.  Which I watched when it was on the first time.  I think I need to take the Stana stairlift and go for a lie down.
