Reassuringly unnecessary

As I was getting near to completing Matt's new desk, it looked as if I would have exactly the right number of parts.  

Since this never happens, I was finding it a bit unnerving. Luckily though, I was left with this spare dowel at the end. 

At least, I think it was spare.
