Do 136 states get it wrong?

Norway have not get yet recognized Palestine as a state.
Our country think it's to soon.
So my question is:

Did 136 states, 
70 percent of all the states in the world, 
80 percent of the world's population
get it all wrong?

Why does Norway want to be one of the last countries to recognize Palestine as a state? 
Even the Pope and Vatican has recognized Palestine.

Today nearly 40 organizations showed up in front of our Parliament 
to express what we think about the Norwegian lack of willingness to follow the rest of the work.
