Caley at UI

An evening walk with Caley at Upper Inverroy in the pouring rain to try and up my intake of fresh air for the day. While I have the rest of the week sorted it only with the usual juggling and flurry of last minute emails.

Triggered by a humurous family conversation at tea time tonight about the most recent political scandal in the Scottish headlines I made up a rather weak bit of poetry. The back ground if you don't know is that -pre election- a Lib Dem candidate made up and leaked story to smear the Scottish first minister Nicola Sturgeon. On initial challenge on whether he was the source of the leak he denied any knowledge. On nearing the point when he was going to be exposed as the source of the leak, and of course lying about later, he has had to admit to the media that he made "an error of judgement".

Anyway:

To tell lies of opponents, not wholesome
Of the first minister especially, foolsome
Her revenge to exact
Nicola got him to retract
Now he’s in jail with Andy Coulson
