Cupcakes in Chem!

Once a month in our Chemistry class one of my classmates, Katie, makes cupcakes.  She started doing this in the beginning of the year and has continued throughout the school year.  At the beginning of the year we studied moles, as in measurement, and converted them to grams and all that fun stuff.  Katie made cupcakes that had pretend moles coming out of them.  She used malted milk balls and Hershey kisses and they looked so cute.  Nobody wanted to eat theirs because it looked so cool!  She continued to make cupcakes and they usually had a theme for the month.  For March there were lucky charms on them for St Patrick’s Day, she made cupcakes when it was people’s birthdays and most recently she made red, white, and blue cupcakes for Memorial Day.  We always look forward to the days when Katie brings in her cupcakes because it gets us out of doing some school work and because by this time of the day we are usually very hungry.  Each time we have cupcakes, we take a picture with our cupcakes.  This is the most recent picture that we took. There are eight people in my Chemistry class and our teacher nicknamed us the “Great Eight.”  We had so much fun this year and this might be the class that I miss the most.
