Eucalypt blossom

There are many gum trees in full blossom at the moment and the lorikeets are having a wild time gorging on blossom juice! :o)

There are always blossoms on the ground under the trees that they really like and this one caught my eye today. It is a different shape to most, I have no idea of the name but it's quite beautiful with its pinkish red and rather phallic centre.
