Painted Lady

The latest butterfly picture ! We've had a very exciting day - 24 hatched at last count when I left today. Only 5 chrysalises left but I'm not sure they will all hatch. I might manage to snap one when we release them tomorrow. They need to be released but the children and I will miss them.
A strange day for weather ...blazing sun interspersed with sudden very heavy downpours. Think the same is forecast for tomorrow ....hope we get some dry. I saw the most amazing double rainbow this evening as I came home :)
