Transit of Venus

Well, today is most likely everyones' last chance to see Venus pass in front of the sun, unless you plan on living for another 105 years! Quite a spectacle and worth the purchase of welding supplies to see it.

Here in Alaska we are lucky because it will still be daylight when the transit is over - we get to see the whole thing!

Note: The other, smaller dark spots on the sun [thankfully] aren't dust on my sensor, they're actually sunspots! Cool!
