The last rays

A blazing finish to the day. It has been quite a day Murphy the little dog who has walked with us for the past 7 years has died. I have blipped him on more than one occasion, he was such a great wee friend. Walking will not be quite the same again.
I also went to the funeral of a great man. The stories told were amazing and because of his illness and his age you could not be totally sad.
Then down to Rainies to enter up this months competition which was back from the Judge.
Late dashing home and no blip so was lucky to get this. It is straight out of the camera and had not been as dark as this.
Have a great weekend, it is our long weekend for the Queens Birthday. When you are retired a long weekend doesn't mean so much but for those that work it is nice for them to have a long weekend before winter sets in any further.
