Mackinac Island, Buggy

Today we arrived on beautiful Mackinac Island for the Annual Knight of Columbus State Convention.  This is the third year in a row I've been lucky enough to attend.  Usually when you think Mackinac Island and buggy, it conjures up thoughts of a horse drawn carriage.  This year it was actual bugs; Midges. There were swarms everywhere.

I snapped this pick on the walk up to our hotel.  There are better shots of the building in my journal here and here too. In spite of the flies (at least they weren't the biting kind!), we enjoyed a bunch of free time on the island today.

The extra photo today is a shot of the island UPS guy making some morning deliveries.  What can Brown do for you?
