Passion - Slavonian style

Down to loch Ruthven today to see the regulars.

We turned up and the wind was blowing and everything was quiet ... except for the squealing little grebes and their three tiny youngsters (see other picture). Then out popped a Slovonian Grebe into the rough, treading water for several minutes waiting for its mate. 

Then the other one appeared and they spent a few minutes performing and beak waving and then disppeared into the reeds.
