There's a first time for everything....!

And today it was mine , to experience the delights of Red Velvet cake that has been so highly recommended by special friends here on blip...and made often by another! I give it 11 out of 10!

D needed to visit our optician in Kensington for some spectacle repair but first we 'lunched' in the wonderful Partridges on Kings Road, Chelsea. And here I made my purchase of a slice of Red Velvet cake.....and carried it carefully on the tube, train and bus until I got it home...to give myself over to its delights!
