American Kestrel

Standing at the sink washing a few dishes and this gorgeous bird flew onto the post.  Not the best photo as it was taken through the window and the screen (the screen is now off the window for as long as we stay here and the glass has been cleaned for future photos opportunities!)
An American Kestrel or sparrow hawk ...smallest of the falcons.
