The Mighty Span

The trip to Mackinac Island would be complete without a stop in Mackinaw City on the way home to see the bridge and snap some shots.  It was a gorgeous sunny day and the water was stunning.  It's hard to get this far north and not cross the bridge though.  There's a lot of fun to be had in the upper peninsula. :)  

A couple of years ago I got a shot from the boat on the way home.  The water was MUCH calmer than it was today!!

Last Year I got a shot at night from Mackinaw City. This was the desktop image on my computer for a long time. :)
