Bicycles and windmills

It was the CTC weekend ride today and it was a long one - 65 miles! Mr PB and I went on the tandem, he had told me that the tea stop was really good. OH wow he wasn't wrong. We went to Wymondham Windmill. It was a beautiful building and surrounded with bicycles! Outside of an organised cycling event/rally I have never seen so many cyclists. The cafe is well used to billions of cyclists descending upon them and they are very welcoming. There's even a bicycle shop next door.  The range of bikes there was amazing and the lads were drooling over them all. We were on our hefty tandem so although not the latest titanium electric gear self pedalling  bike, it was a novelty!

The cafe was quite eccentric with an amazing array of cakes (see extra pics) and filled with really usual things. I loved the lamp shades!

The ride was good, fast and a bit longer than usual, It was the longest we have ever done on the Beast.

L is home from Uni tomorrow whoohoo. I wonder if Indie will recognise him
