FALLEN

Can there be anything more splendid than playing in the woods with your favourite seven year old?  Building dens, watching ducklings follow their Mum, exploring the forest, climbing the trees and eating ice cream.  He is kind enough to allow me time to pay tribute to the fallen rhododendron flowers that lie everywhere, like so many abandoned fairy frocks.
