Fox Talbot's Lattice Window

Had an incredibly surreal moment today, taking a digital photograph of the very window that was the start of photography.  Wonder what William Fox Talbot would make of our digital age and how easy it is to take photos today.

Beautiful place altogether, I've included an extra that I cobbled up quickly, might pop back and add some more when they've had a proper look at.

Great day out, not even marred by a puncture on the way home.  Luckily a knight in shining armour (well a Renault actually) stopped and managed to free the wheel that was stuck fast to the hub (apparently it's something common with alloys that a bit of grease during maintenance should fix)
