Everybody needs good neighbours...

...and friends.


We moved to this house late November 1987 and were invited into a Christmas Eve do by our new next door neighbours Pat and George. While there, we met Jen and Nigel with whom we have been friends ever since.

Jen and I had children at the same time so they have been close friends all their lives.

Tonight J and N and P and G came for dinner. P and G both turned 80 this year...you wouldn't know it! To celebrate his 80th year G is running half a dozen half marathons, has climbed the 3 peaks, gone skiing and climbed the millenium dome! P is also very fit.

The evening was a great success and it was after 1 by the time we all called it a day!

I waved goodbye to P and G as they walked down our drive and up theirs. G rang to say they had got home safely ;)

G runs every Sunday morning...I hope he was ok!!
