Blaenavon Heritage Railway

My blip today, where I went for my walk, shows a footbridge over the rail tracks and part of the railway station at Blaenavon which was featured in "The Indian Doctor," a 2013 TV drama set in the 1960s, starring Sanjeev Bhaskar which was about a doctor working in a South Wales mining village.  Blaenavon's Railway is set in the heart of a World Heritage Site on the edge of the Brecon Beacons.

My extra blip is of my favourite bench overlooking the Garnlakes, which is in walking distance of the railway.  It is a lovely spot to chill out and reflect.  Unable to do that today though as the weather changed threatening rain!
