Oop North

We travelled up to Lancashire this morning to join my sister-in-law for her 65th birthday. I had thought of doing a nice shot of the terrace of houses that she lives in, perhaps with an artistic sepia tone or retro black and white, but the man on the roof a few doors down, police roadblocks at either end of the street, warnings to keep the doors locked, crowds in the street and police helicopter circling overhead all afternoon have rather put paid to that idea. So instead, this one is especially for one of my Facebook friends, Laura, who said last time I posted a picture of a cat that she never thought she would see the day. So here you are Laura; this one's for you.
