Back to civilisation

After being a week on Kökar it's always fascinating to experience the culture shock when back to Helsinki. So many cars and people all over the place! On Kökar we saw at the most two cars during the day, usually none.

The question is: what IS civilisation? According to Wikipedia it is: A civilization (US) or civilisation (UK) is any complex society characterized by urban developmentsocial stratificationsymbolic communication forms (typically, writing systems), and a perceived separation from and domination over the natural environment

Wikipedia doesn't mention the civilisation of the heart. That´s something which is characteristic for Kökar and it's population. I'm not saying that any other place would necessarily lack that, on Kökar it just is like in a nut shell.
