I have eaten
the plums
that were in
the icebox

and which
you were probably
saving
for breakfast

Forgive me
they were delicious
so sweet
and so cold


Strawberry, blueberry,
gooseberry or plum,
all would delight
my little striped chum.

We saw the sun this morning! Not the dramatic heart thumping, spirit moving, negative ion dispelling sunrise of my dear friend, Bethanne, which should not be missed, but the sun at last.

For the Record,
This day came in sunny with blue skies, clouding over but it's dry. I'm working on a project for Garden Club. Collecting natural material for children to make Fairy Houses /Homes for Gnomes at our Hanover Day, June 16th.
