Brendan's POV

I have been a member of the SNP since 1974 and have been going to Constituency Meetings since around 1978.

These are the monthly gatherings at which reports are made and business transacted.

Today there were upwards of 80 people at the first Argyll & Bute CA Meeting since the Westminster Election , which makes the meeting one of the best attended CAs I have ever been at.

This was just half the room in the Argyll Hotel in Inveraray , taken whilst the new MP Brendan O'Hara addressed branch delegates.
