#31 The Loneliness of a Middle Distance Runner

For the last blip under the concept, "song of the day", I choose one of my favourite songs from my all time favourite band. So here's today's song, "The Loneliness of a Middle Distance Runner", from Belle & Sebastian's 2001 single, Jonathan David. As you can imagine, this song is a reference to Alan Sillitoe's novel, "The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner". 

It was great fun to blip under the theme, which began with Belle & Sebastian and ended with Belle & Sebastian.
