An Irish Guy Abroad

Lost

I found this bench in a quite back alley of Blackburn I don't think it has been there for very long but whoever decided on where to site it must have been a bit of a gom. Anyway it celebrates the invention of the cotton jenny by James Hargreaves late of Knuzden Brook, Oswaldstwistle and Blackburn. The seat is sited near to the museum at the bottom of Richmond St. and yet far enough away to be lost from site, such a shame as it is quite a nice bench.

Although I do wonder what the significance of the cherry's on the seat of the bench are.

Only Blackburn is pronounced as it is written.
