The Australian Emu

We drove through the swan valley and Chittering today, we usually spot an Emu or two on this trip, these Emus were grazing amongst the Orange Groves, its the largest bird native to Australia, they can travel long distances and can trot very fast, they eat insects and plants, its quite common over most parts of Australia.

Its the first day of our Winter today, its been quite mild with temps of 21c, maybe my Sis Anniemay is right, we only pretend its Winter..
