Lots to see.

To be precise The Lots. A series of fields on the edge of Silverdale village. They are owned by the National Trust.
In May they are a great delight as they have hundreds of Green Winged and Early Purple Orchids. Those are past their best now and indeed the grazing stock has been allowed back this morning.
But the Bulbous Buttercups are at their best and here is a shot looking back towards the edge of the village. They flower earlier than Meadow Buttercups.
Those with sharp eyes may spot the twin blocks of Heysham Nuclear Power Station which no doubt provided some of the power which charged the battery which allowed its picture to be taken.
If I can make it work again there may be one or two extras.
