Lonesome pine

Wet start to the day, but by the time set out on our walk at tea time the sky was mostly blue. About 10km at a cracking pace!

Glorious views of the Cheviot en route, but didn't stop to take photos other than this lonely tree on the moors, bent and battered by the elements.

Back home to venison stew, waiting in the slow cooker, and a couple of glasses of red.
