School sports day

The school that the Talpids attend held its sports day this afternoon. Miraculously the heavens ceased their deluge just before the start of the games and blue skies appeared! They are now deluging once more.

The excitement during the egg and spoon race was quite palpable; the male Talpid, he in the green shorts, came away with a medal, much to Talpa's great delight.
