Don't Look Down

Did a lot of faffing this morning. Nothing unusual as our daughter Madamejeune would agree. You know what it's like first few days of a holiday when you're trying to get sorted out. You go to put on sun cream. It's been in the motor home for three years and is out of date. You give it a good shake and try to squirt some on. Nothing happens because the nozzle is bunged up. Give it a good shake, try again, nothing happens, squeeze a bit harder, it comes out with a rush and goes everywhere.
Ten minutes cleaning up. Anyway we eventually got out on the bikes at about 11 o clock. They tell you to keep out of the sun between eleven and three. Now I know why. It was boiling hot, especially for our unaccustomed Northern skin and personal climate control.
We cycled about thirty miles up the Gorges du Verdon, hilly and hot! Spectacularly beautiful.
We saw loads of what I think were golden eagles. I think LooseCanon is doing an extra of them so I would love to know the opinion of the blip bird experts.
