Illuminated Procession

Yesterday's "something different" was even more different tonight. All the trailboats featured in yesterday's blip were festooned in lights and made their way to the end of the canal. At 9.30pm they turned on the lights and made their way back from the Crooklands Hotel to their mooring places, passing below us spectators stood on the bridge.

They had gone to a lot of trouble for this, I'm glad we heard the announcement about it.

The show has been very nice, but certainly not the weather we would have expected at the end of May.
