Downton Aberdeen

Vacation. First stop, Aberdeen, Washington. The state.

This is from a part of the town that once shined a bit more. We are driving along the Washington coast which is generally undeveloped, except for a handful of (busy) towns.

Tonight's stay is at one of the finest B & B's we have seen. "A Harbor View Inn", where the extra shot(s) show a bit of one of the oldest homes in the city. When servants lived downstairs at one point.

Also here, Kurt Cobain Memorial on the Wishkah River. A rough out of the way part of the town, said to be appropriate for the one who gave grunge a capitol 'G'. And like the scene from the Six Feet Under series when Peter Krause was emotionally beat up, when he learned that Kurt had died, it would make you cry.
