Graduation Dinner

My cousin, Dinaea, and I are both graduating high school this year.   To celebrate, my Uncle Lynn and Aunt Kim (Dinaea’s grandparents) wanted to take us out for dinner.  They had planned on doing this for a while but we all had very busy schedules and it was hard to find the time to go.  We decided to go one night after school.  We drove over to their house and then we went to eat from there.  We went to a restaurant that was about 20 minutes away.  We ate our meals and talked a lot.  They asked us questions about college and our plans for the summer.  After we were done eating, they took us for ice cream.  We ate our ice cream in the car on the way back to their house.   When we returned to their house we went inside to visit for a little while.  We stayed for about an hour.  It was getting pretty late, and we had school the next day.  It was nice to be able to visit with them because we don’t get to see them that often.  We got to catch up on what is new in our lives.  I’m happy we were able to go because I know how much it meant to them.
