Tributes

A few weeks ago the Liverpool Echo asked fans and players to send in messages of their memories of Steven Gerrard to form this massive mural.  It was finished in time for the Liverpool FC Players’ Awards night at the Echo Arena and is currently in the Echo's Capital Building on Old Hall Street while a permanent home is sought.


It's 8 x 4 metres and made up of the messages painted onto the canvas.  A clever thing, skilfully executed and a fitting reminder.
