Three is a magic number!

As I drove past Gunknowe Loch yesterday, I noticed that there were cygnets. Last year we went from a brood of three or four down to just one - Donald - thanks to the large pike that live in the water.

After I took this shot, the adult swan took her little ones out the water and onto the island where they should be safe for the moment.
