Looking backwards

We were looking backwards at this point in our walk.  A view down to Salcombe Mouth and Branscombe beyond.  It was the last hill climb of the day, and a very steep one.  We had done an eight mile circular walk from Sidmouth inland to Salcombe Regis, the donkey sanctuary and back via the coastal footpath.

We felt after all our efforts up and down the hills we deserved a cream tea, so stopped on the way home at a favourite tea spot.  Maybe I should have had an extra photo of the scone and cream but I was too busy eating it to even think about it.

I have now dug a few weeds out of the allotment plot I have just taken up.  A bit worried about finding the time for this.
