Off to Olching near Munich to visit Angie's Dad and collect some plants he had raised from seed for us. He does this every year, mainly tomato, aubergine, pepper and cucumbers. This year a few strawberry plants thrown in.

As always stepmother Jani had produced a great lunch and we were then joined by Angie's step brother's wife, Sandra and baby Emily, both of whom have appeared on Blip at some time.

Luna has always been fascinated by children ever since she came here. Simply the sound of children's voices makes her pick up her ears. When Emily came in to the room, Luna threw herself on the ground and was in seventh heaven. Can't remember her being in contact with a very small toddler but she simply loved it.

Then loaded up the trailer with masses of plants and headed over to Angie's mum. As she doesn't like having the dogs in the flat, I went for a walk with them while Angie popped in.

Pretty miserable day, weatherwise. Still no sign of summer.
