Back to back

Cycling along the canal this afternoon, I noticed the rower on the left going along at quite a rate. Then I saw a young lad rowing in the opposite direction and of course they were both rowing backwards... Why people like going backwards without a mirror to guide them beats me. Anyway, I expected a crash, but there was just a little "dunt" and they both back peddled and the boy (not the girl :)) moved to the side. Clever rowers!
