Weeding

After I returned from York I had a look in the garden and thought that I had better do some weeding.  I did a bit but need to do more.  I like weeding as it gives me time to think and meditate.
For those who don't, this poem may be helpful - change your mind about the weeds!  I saw it in a leaflet in London in April.  The leaflet was "Poems on the Underground -celebrating Irish Poetry."
 "Not Weeding"  by Paula Meehan
"Nettle,bramble, shepherd's purse-
refugees from the building site
that was once the back field,

my former sworn enemies
these emissaries of the wild
now cherished guests."
