Vale Charlie

One of my patients died yesterday. He was a soldier, an artist, an Olympian and a gentleman.

He gave me this picture for Christmas a few years ago.

He was a delightful man and I was always happy to see him.

It is a privilege and joy to be allowed to be part of people lives and to be reminded that they have had wonderful, full, complex and joyful lives before becoming "patients".
