Past Its Best

Although I still think this clematis looks rather beautiful.

It was Friday and since all of my colleagues had taken the day as holiday or had decided to work from home, I thought I'd have my first attempt at working from home.

So at 20 to 7 this morning I was happily connecting to my office network while wearing my Urmelhose.  I don't think the good people of Wiesbaden are ready for me wearing them to work though.

I'm glad I decided to work from home.  It was the first really, really hot day of the year.  33°C is more than warm.  And accordingly I've drunk quite a lot of water and generally been grateful that I wasn't in our little oven of an office.  And alone.

A productive day - although one that started with an infuriating problem. And I'm very glad I didn't have to do the 2 bus journey home in this kind of heat. 

And I did work much longer than I normally would have.  But had to stop as I was in danger of going over the 10-Hour Limit.  It's all good.
