Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium

There are apparently numerous cat cafe's around the world however many don't come recommended, with too many cats crammed in to too a small space. A visit to Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium requires full reading of a manual prior to entering. Etiquette includes hand washing, not touching a sleeping cat, not picking any cat up and no children are allowed.

I went expecting to sit in a zen like state with my friend, at one with the felines. Instead it was more like a visit to a creche with childless adults. As we quaffed our tea and tucked into our scones we were surrounded by adults scrabbling around the floor desperate for attention from these none too fussed felines. By the end I was wondering if these people had ever seen a cat before.
