Sorting Things Out

This time last year, when our previous builders left the site, I was not in a very healthy state and was unaware of just what bad condition they had left our garden.  Since then I have been able to look at the garden, but due to the growth of vegetation I had not fully appreciated how much ground they had disturbed.  In this picture I am strimming the lawn and weeds in order to establish the true ground level and condition. Prior to our groundsman moving the soil back to its original height and levels/slopes.  In order to achieve this, we have had to replace a missing 60 tonnes of sub-soil and 60 tonnes of topsoil. (In fact 120 tonnes of top soil is missing!)
