What a sight

Lazy morning, late breakfast outside the cottage which is perched high on a hilltop above a lake. All of a sudden a huge bird flew over - followed by another, then another. We counted in excess of 40, yes 40, Griffon vultures! Cue scramble inside for camera, zoom, zoom, zoom - loads of out of focus photos. Damn it. Most were already flying out of range by the time I spotted them with the camera but in a fuzzy way, I'm kind of pleased with this one.
As the husband said, it was really a time to forget about the camera and just drink it all in. A sight never to be forgotten.
