Castle Neroche

We were supporting daughter Danielle and her team mates at a Baton Twirling competition in Taunton today and they did brilliantly. Danielle won two solo first prizes a second in duet and five other top awards in the team events. Wooohoo.

I had an hour or so when Danielle wasn't performing so headed for the Blackdown Hills and by chance came across a forest walk on the site of Castle Neroche, a Norman motte-and-bailey castle. I'd loved to have stayed for longer and will definitely revisit. I've posted some extra blips too.
