Pierre made it to the top of Mont bloomin' Ventoux! I accompanied him to Chalet Reynard in my car(!) and then waited for him there whilst he did the last 6kms. He did it! So proud of him.

After he cycled back down, we had a wee apéritif at the café and then Pierre drove me right to the top. I have always been too scared to go up there, but it was amazing! So pleased to have seen it, the weird moonscape terrain, the weary cyclists, and the amazing views! Wow!

We got home and had a bbq to celebrate :) Including a whole Camembert done on the barbie with a baguette for dipping. Ahhhh....
