Two nights out in a row.

The first was a dinner at which Rose Fitzpatrick - Scotland's most senior female police officer - was the guest speaker. It was great to have her insights into leadership in the public sector.

The second, the cHeRries awards, was well worth the dash back north (see yesterday's blip). Hugh Dennis was the speaker and was very amusing.

So this is me, trying to undo the food and wine, in the gym on a Friday evening.

G was waiting at home, wanting me to hurry up, so we could eat some more...
